Jumu’ah Khutbah from Masjid al Nabwai The Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque shares a powerful message about the blessed first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, reminding us that these are the greatest days for worship, charity, dhikr, and fasting. The Day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah) • Expiates sins of the past and coming year • One of the greatest acts of worship outside of Hajj • A day when duas are accepted and Allah’s mercy descends Will you be fasting on the Day of Arafah? . . . #Haramaininfo #Haramain #Hajj2025

These blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah remind us of the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS), where complete submission to Allah taught humanity the true meaning of faith, patience and sincerity. Hajj and sacrifice are not merely about slaughtering an animal; they are also a reminder to sacrifice our ego, hatred, arrogance and selfishness for the sake of Allah. In a world where compassion, brotherhood, and understanding are fading, Islam continues to teach us love, unity, mercy and humanity.

What's your plan for the best 10 days of the year? Make giving daily one of them. Set up the Dhul Hijjah Challenge once — your sadaqah goes out automatically across all 10 days, to a different cause each day. #Hajj #Eid #DhulHijjah

This is one of the oldest known footages of the Hajj, lasting only seven minutes yet vividly capturing the atmosphere of that era. Filmed in 1928, nearly 100 years ago, it shows pilgrims traveling from Jeddah to Mecca, scenes of the holy Kaaba, and the arrival of King Abdulaziz overseeing the organization of the Hajj.
