Exactly. Reset the edge of the defense when leverage is lost. Too many look at this and want to preach tracking the inside hip like they are in mission impossible. Fast agressive decisions force quick outcomes.

Love the sliding-scale concept. The picture determines the tackle. Shoulders turn east-west, close space and attack. Shoulders stay north-south, stay square, protect leverage, get him down. Aggression without the right read can create the miss.

COACHES: Here's a power play tactic I'd love to see more teams employ. Carolina has a player below the goal line on the opposite side you usually see. This allows him the ability to skate toward the net with the puck on his forehand ready to make a play. In this clip he finds the bumper player for the goal. If there's no play he can skate it around the net to find the bumper or look for other options like a player coming down the dot line or a cross-crease pass to a player sliding down to the back door. Great job by Ehlers and something to think about for your PP set up!!

Something else I will say is when he leaves West Ham after a season or 2 he will go for more than double they paid for him. I said all along is a great player with great vision and huge potential. The difference from him been injured to coming back from injury last season helped us get over the line to win the title. West Ham got themselves a BARGAIN.
