The short term thinking she describes is absolutely how we ended up here. But what she doesn’t mention is the fact that the “rules” by which the entire game is played, forces executives to think short term. It’s a forced choice they all must make in order to compete and survive.

She is spot on. Western countries used slavery and colonisation to grow their economies. Now they are crying about China. Soon it will be India and then Africa...

Even back when I didn't used to like China - which I do now - I knew blaming China for doing what was best for their own country was ridiculous. The barons of industry went to them. On purpose. They are the ones who dismantled manufacturing for the sake of profits, not China.

is it time for a $HUDI on Solana? 🤔

This not as bad, how western countries gave their IT inside out informing to Indian and no body has been able to stop them from scamming our most vulnerable and senior citizens.

While I agree with her, because she’s describing capitalism as the root of the problem, not “Joe Biden” or “Mexicans”—She loses me as it comes across as a good thing. I’m not sure if glazing CEOs is the best long term position for us 😭

It wasn’t forced.

She might of blue pulled someone but it’s not entirely accurate.

She's not wrong. But she's talking about things that happened 15-20 years ago or more. Today, China doesn't need Apple's tech, as they are way further ahead. Nikes aren't manufactured in China, as it isn't a cheap labor place anymore.

👏 👏👏 This lady understands business better than most.

China isn’t supposed to take peoples patented technology/ideas due to them signing WTO agreements, but alas, they do…. So we continue to allow them to make cheaply made products and sell them in our country with zero tariffs while we are tariffed out the wazoo to sell our product we designed in their country? The reason these corporations build in China is bc the labor is cheap and the CCP are probably blackmailing these CEOs. The reasons we are in the situation are multiple not a singular reason like she is suggesting. China doesn’t follow the rules of the treaties they sign, why should we continue to do business with a SNAKE 🐍? Short term pain to get our jobs and manufacturing back. Be mad at the fossils in DC (on both sides), they sold us out a LONG time ago.
