This home still has that "new house smell"—yet the keys are already going right back to the bank. 🚨🏠 I’m out running foreclosure inspections today, and walking into this house is wild. It smells completely brand new. The carpet padding, the floor glue, the fresh paint... it doesn't even smell like anyone ever cooked a single meal in here before they lost it. The crazy part? This is a brand-new build community, and they are still actively building houses down the street while this one is already sitting in foreclosure. But once you look past that fresh smell, the truth clicks. The craftsmanship is nonexistent. The materials are the absolute cheapest, lowest-tier junk they could possibly find. It’s a completely hollow, cheaply made box sold at premium prices. Right now, I am personally monitoring three other properties for the banks in this exact same community that are already falling dangerously behind. The developers clearly used toxic, creative financing to lure people in, promising them that buying was "cheaper than renting." But these buyers found out the hard way: owning a home is a completely different beast than renting an apartment. When you're in an apartment, maintenance and landscaping costs are shared or covered. Out here? The massive bills for landscaping, structural upkeep, and everything else fall 100% directly on you. The "American Dream" pitch sold by these builders was a financial trap, and the reckoning is hitting this neighborhood before the construction dust even settles. Are you seeing foreclosures pop up in the new construction builds near you? 👇
