Foreign countries will be the ones to absorb the tariffs Trump implements—that is why they are all currently at the negotiation table. Foreign countries need the American consumer!

What a bald faced lie! Then why is Trump ragging on Walmart for raising prices due to the tariffs Walmart will pay?

If foreign countries were the ones paying the tariffs, American consumers wouldn’t be seeing higher prices. But they are. The money goes to the U.S. Treasury, not China. So no, they’re not “absorbing” anything. We’re just getting taxed and told it’s a win.

Are you capable of speaking the truth? No one with 1 ounce of knowledge of how tariffs work believes that.

Is Walmart a foreign country?

No Americans and American companies pay the tariffs. Trump can’t say China pays tariff and then get mad at Walmart.

Trump just posted the other day begging Walmart to eat the cost of tariffs instead of passing it on to consumers.

We pay them. They are levied upon the arrival of goods into the US and paid by whichever company imports them. That cost then either gets partially passed on to us or completely passed on to us. Shut up with your BS.
