For too long, Canadians have watched the Liberal government fail to confront regime-linked intimidation and foreign interference with the seriousness it demands. Today in the House of Commons, I presented Petition e-7153, signed by 17,246 Canadians calling for real action against the Iranian regime and its networks. The petition calls for tougher sanctions, full enforcement against the IRGC, stronger investigations into foreign interference and money laundering, a robust foreign agent registry, and the removal of regime agents from Canada. Canadians should never have to live with intimidation and fear on our own soil. We need action, accountability, and a government willing to put the safety of our communities first.

Remember folks, Elections Canada & CSIS officially declared that foreign interference was not a factor in the 2025 Canadian Federal election. I posted two videos earlier today of the CSIS representative stating such. Does this sound like foreign interference was a non factor in our election? Clearly Joe Tay faced unthinkable levels of CCP intimidation & so did the diaspora community. If we ignore this, then our democracy is finished. The CCP will only be emboldened to do this at every level of government. The very Liberals who claimed Canada won't be the 51st State are allowing China to capture our democracy, while denying people in China the right to vote. It is national suicide to allow this to continue. That is why it's so alarming that this has been all but dismissed by Elections Canada & CSIS. Pierre Poilievre just tore apart the Carney Liberals’ national security incompetence and exposed the humiliating reality of Liberal Canada. A Canadian made it inside NATO before being arrested in Belgium on suspicion of espionage. Canada missed her. Our NATO partners did not. Foreign governments are catching the threats that Mark Carney’s government is apparently too incompetent to detect itself. They find the suspected spies. They expose the foreign interference. All of his excuses have been dismissed by non-partisan national security experts, so if he has nothing to hide, what is he afraid of? Why won’t he get his security clearances? Pierre Poilievre needs to: Get the clearance. Take the briefing. Protect the country. It’s that simple.

REPORT: Chinese Senators investigated by CSIS and publicly named by Sam Cooper for being part of a Communist Chinese Foreign Interference operation, have started a Canadian non-profit that will defend Canadians accused of cooperating with the communist Chinese. Despite there being a live tape recording of Yuen Pau Woo pledging his allegiance to the Communist Chinese Government, he claims the allegations are false and exaggerated. Woo believes the hatred from Canadians is coming from a populist political movement that wants to punish his community for not conforming to Canadian culture and has nothing to do with being a traitor.

At Industry Committee, I was proud to support my Conservative colleague Michael Guglielmin's motion condemning forced labour in China. I also brought forward an amendment to condemn the unacceptable comments made by Liberal MP Michael Ma that downplayed these abuses. There is no grey area when it comes to forced labour and human rights violations committed by the Communist Beijing regime. Canadians expect their elected representatives to call it out, not cover for it.
