Despite there being a live tape recording of Yuen Pau Woo pledging his allegiance to the Communist Chinese Government, he claims the allegations are false and exaggerated. Woo believes the hatred from Canadians is coming from a populist political movement that wants to punish his community for not conforming to Canadian culture and has nothing to do with being a traitor.
