Yesterday, I had to drill out a 10-32 stainless screw that had broken off. “Hey Grok, what is the drill size for a 10-32 tap.” “It’s a #21 drill bit [and Grok decides to… elaborate]. Some machinists will step it up to a #22 drill bit in harder metals to make the tapping easier.” “Grok, you understand a #22 drill bit is smaller than a #21, right?” “You’re right, my bad, I should have checked, but my answer to your actual question is still right.” “How long would it have taken you to check your answer?” “Microseconds, but it was an offhand comment that I didn’t check with the normal safeguards.” Commercial AI is nothing more than a very smart 7 year old. I have this idea to add a body positivity pep talk to my podcast on Fridays I’ve struggled with my own body image, comments people have made irl and online, and in my own mind. Slowly, I’m learning that my body is my instrument to create the symphony of my life, to pursue what I’m passionate about, and to make meaning with. This is my one vessel to pursue my life’s purpose with and that is not something I should take lightly or berate. I also shouldn’t tolerate it from others. That means treating my body like a sacred place that deserve reverence for the ways in which it allows me to externalize my heart- because few things matter more than that.

This is what “rich” looks like I wake up everyday feeling like I hit the lotto. Not when I’m up on a trade or when I drive one of my cars, but in quiet moments like this. Just a few years ago, I was facing prison time. Broke. Delivering food on DoorDash to scrape together a few hundred bucks to fund my trading account. We shared a one-bedroom apartment with $500 to our name after bills. The journey from there to here wasn’t overnight. It wasn’t glamorous. It was a grind that broke me down before it built me up…but it made me the man I am today. Yes, I have the cars and watches now that people associate with success. But I can tell you with absolute certainty…they don’t compare to this. Building a life with someone who believed in you when nobody else did and winning the game of life Trading changed my financial situation, but gratitude changed my life. If you’re reading this and still in the grind, just keep pushing. I know it may seem like it will never work, but it will. You have to believe that. You have to be thankful for every little thing because without the bad there is no good. Without the bad you become weak. The most important thing is to remember what you’re working towards and make sure there is real meaning behind it. Gonna get sappy on here for a second. Few know how much Tennessee football really means to me. It’s not only the team I grew up cheering for but my Alma mater and the reason why I wanted to be a sports reporter. In 2022 I drove across the country to watch the Vols beat Alabama for the first time in 15 years. I watched in the stands with the two people that made me a VFL— my mom and my dad. I cried real tears and as dumb as it might sound to some, it was a dream come true. Two years later I get a dream job— sports anchor in Knoxville. That already didn’t feel real. This time the third Saturday in October rolled around and another dream came true. I got to watch my favorite team beat Alabama in the house that built me. This time not from the stands as a fan, but from the sidelines as a sports reporter. Even in my wildest dreams, I’m not sure I could’ve drawn this one up. Dreams do come true. Go Vols forever!

I used to be jealous of people who can buy cream top milk because it’s just not very available in my area. My understanding is this is how all milk was sold back in the day. Then it occurred to me: why not just put the cream back in? Result: it tastes like a milkshake. ☺️ PS: I don’t drink milk often but when I do it’s A2. It’s a treat that is far better than any junk food.

Once I enter a ride, the first thing I ask the driver is if he has Bluetooth🤲. And I connect my sound immediately. If he does not have, I will just tell him to turn off the music if it is something that makes me uncomfortable. Better to ride in silence than feed my spirit with polluted sounds just because I am on a ride. It does not matter how long or short the ride is.
