The old Disney movies had a genuine sense of seriousness that blended with the heartwarming moments; the new ones seem to lack that somehow.

Kids need to see these types of stories to aid their emotional development, not the slop they are feed in social media nowdays

In the novel the Vixey and her cubs get gassed, Tod dies of exhaustion, and the hunter shoots copper because he can’t take him into the nursing home he moves into. The movie was an ice cream social compared to the novel.

Oh the good old days. I miss them but I force my 10 year old grandson to watch the old Disney movies. I tell him how much his dad and Aunts loved them.

There's a reason why I only watched this once yet it's so ingrained into my memory.

Its nice when someone actually enjoys the movie when watching these clips, verses it being thrown together with "Beanie" by Chezile playing in the background. Fox and the hound is a good story 👌👍

This film destroyed us more as adults than it did us as children, because when we were kids, we had a hard time understanding the situation. I watched it as an adult and man, I cried... I only ever laughed when I was a kid.. This movie is more deep than you all think.

This edit, man... Kid-friendly trauma is good for children. The world is a beautiful place but it can also be scary and tough. I'm glad they have these stories in order to ease them into being prepared.
