Forget about nauseating hard hitting TV programmes like ‘Adolescence’ & ‘EastEnders’. In our day we didn’t have plot lines full of murder & misogyny. No. Back in the day we were all virgins, smoked & enjoyed truly captivating TV dramas such as this. Simpler, happier times.❤️

You evoke such happy, pleasant times Sir M. The Wooden tops on TV. Saluting the flag and worshiping Brown Owl. Dancing round a toadstool! Flopsy bunnies,Sooty and Sweep. Where did it all go wrong? A veritable paradise lost.🤔😬😁

The good old days when you could come home from work and dinner would be on the table and if it wasn't you could give the missus a good right hander then settle down to watch the Black and White Minstrel show now woke has ruined everything.

Sir M, in our day we had such wonders as It’s a Knockout with Stuart Hall, Jimll Fix it with Jimmy Saville, play with Rolf with Rolf Harris, the list goes on. Happier times then. Anyway it’s turned 8:30 so Saturday and sunshine means Pisang Ambon all day 🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹

Simpler times Sir M, when smoking was allowed on public transportation with their saucy bus conductors & jolly drivers. We were allowed to have fun !!!

I'm afraid a lot of the swearing and horrific body count in today's shows can be traced back to Angela Lansbury and 'Murder She Wrote'. A Labour plant of course

I was inspired by this Drama to such an extent i said to a Lady in a Public House, smoking a Du Maurier cigarette "this is a penis". She replied "These are my Brothers" and they beat the shit out of me...🤬😡😠

I’d heard this was the program that radicalised Penolpe Keith? So Russell Brand believes anyway
