this is called GaVS can stabilize videos by reconstructing and rendering them in 3D. it's technically not a world model, but a smart approach at faking one. project page: code:

i did something similar in foundry nuke long ago. you could solve the camera, project the image onto a 2d card and then create another static camera in 3d space that looks at this card. it has beaten any stabilization algorithm at the time.

This is awesome to see, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of ai stabilization since I was little, the idea of just “solving it” with an ai is blowing my mind to see
