Toronto St Paul’s was rigged with that massive ballot, but that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be some reflection and forward planning. Poilievre will destroy our social safety net, period.

Problem, Nate: the LPC doesn't really have members any more. There's almost no value in riding-level participation, and so there is no "membership", per se, the way there used to be pre-Trudeau.

We still have members in our riding association!

What you all miss is what you think we want isn’t what we want. And you keep doubling down on it. You’re all too proud to read the room and change.

Thank you, Nate. We're standing with Trudeau, & the grassroots should be made very aware of that. Let's not forget there are Canadians who haven't been rendered irrational by social media and complicit journos. That would be a very large portion of Canada, boomers, and Gen X.

I respect every word, and agree with you Nate. But it is too much impetus for a by-election with 30% turnout. They have begged Trudeau to quit for the last year. They beg because they are 0-3. Now,because of a 500 vote gap, where the long ballot didn't help, he should quit ?

Well said, I hope you throw your hat in the ring if it does come to a leadership race in the future.

I sent your campaign a donation because you're a smart man. Thanks for proving me correct.

It's not the media that viewed it as a referendum on JT, the Liberals framed it as existential by having every MP under the sun show up. For weeks on end we had to live in fear that Mark or Chrystia might leap out from behind a tree or shrub and call us cold and small. Now they are back peddling and pretending they never cared about it.

@cavanagh_danny Can you please teach the liberal govt comms team about how to communicate (IMO this is a major problem )The PM has faults etc. but it's not all on him. I voted for you in the provincial leadership race. It's such a shame that you didn't win. I don't think Bonnie has it.
