I haven’t watched Earthspark but the lighting and rendering in this clip looks amazing. The character work for the animation is genuinely impressive for a kids show

yes! i can't really speak for the technical stuff but i've always felt the same and i do think it's underrated, people judge it way too harshly

Thinking about the improvements in animation quality just comparing TFP to Earthspark, it’s crazy to see how far “cheap kids animation” has come lol
