Almost 100% of the times he hits a bad shot today, it's because he drops the club into his old position as he starts his downswing. Check out every bad tee-shot he hit during final round at Masters, and you will see precisely what I am referencing. (When he doesn't do this, he hits perfect shot after perfect shot. And PS ... The same "syndrome" also applies to his putting stroke. Damn, golf is hard!)

As did mine. Getting older, growing broader in the shoulders and chest, losing mobility in the back and torso... all things that lead to a different swing. I doubt you'll find many, if any, 60+ year old's with a flat swing that gets in good positions at the top and at impact.

The club is pointing directly at target at top. It wasn’t so much flat as it was much compact. To be flat the club has to be pointed left at the top.

Honestly last night was ripping the pen to hard and started thinking of how hogan changed his swing to more of a fade to not get stuck inside and then went on the best run of his career even post car wreck. Everyone was so flat then. Go watch 2014 Fowler holy shit

That’s a damn good swing. The one thing I like about him is he has not ruined his body like Tiger did. I believe that the kind of workouts he did broke him down and were directly related to his injuries.
