The Jamaican Constitution and its Charter of Rights protect freedom of movement.Every citizen has the legal right to move freely throughout the island.Police cannot arrest, detain, or charge a person simply for being from a different neighborhood, town, or parish.

It’s bad enough getting profiled in certain upper-class communities wen unno go abroad, but getting profiled in your OWN country… even at your grandmother’s yard gate, while explaining themselves to y’all, is absolutely WILD. 😩
