A woman tied her husband to a cot, held him captive overnight, brutally assaulted him and gave him electric shocks following a domestic dispute in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district, police said. According to police, the incident came to light on Monday morning after they received information that an injured man was lying at the scene. Police immediately reached the spot and shifted the injured man, Sanjeev Tiwari, to the district hospital. Doctors referred him to Kanpur after providing primary treatment, citing his critical condition. While undergoing treatment, Sanjeev Tiwari told police that his wife tied him to a cot on Sunday night, held him captive and assaulted him. He also said that she gave him electric shocks using electrical wires. After Sanjeev Tiwari's condition improved, his brother submitted a written complaint against the accused woman at the police station. Based on the complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections of the law and took the accused wife into custody for questioning. Fatehpur Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik said police received information on Monday morning about an injured. He said that Tiwafri informed police that his wife had tied him up, held him captive and assaulted him during the previous night. The survivor also claimed that she touched him with electric wires to administer electric shocks. The SP said police first ensured that the injured man received medical treatment before recording his statement. After his condition stabilised, his brother filed a complaint against the survivor's wife, following which police registered a case and detained her. According to SP Manglik, the couple frequently argued over alcohol, and the dispute escalated on Sunday night. He said the woman tied her husband to a cot, assaulted him and gave him electric shocks with electrical wires. During the assault, the Tiwari suffered a serious head injury. Doctors at the district hospital referred him to Kanpur after his condition turned critical, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Police at Central Pooice Station have wrongfully refused to record his complaint arguing he should report the same at Diani Police Station which was his first contact station upon arrival. As VOCAL Africa, we want to tell the police that a Kenyan can report a matter at any police station. Once reported, the police should then escalate the matter to the relevant police station. Why are the Police Officers in Ogombo Police station, Ajah refusing someone who they arrested but refused to tell him on what grounds they have, the opportunity to call his family members to inform them that he has been detained and won’t be coming home. How different is this from a kidnap? Isn’t the police your friend? Isn’t the duty of the police to protect lives & citizens? Today October 18, 2024, at at around 11:55 AM, our traffic police officer from Jinja Road Police Station attempted to stop a white Toyota Land Cruiser (reg. No. UBM 439T) driven by a MERCY TIMBITWIRE BASHISHA who had allegedly caused an accident. Despite his signals, the motorist is said to have refused to stop and continued driving while using her phone. After catching up at Lugogo Traffic Lights, it is alleged that she parked at the Uganda Manufacturers Association and locked her vehicle. Our officer asked for her driving permit. she is said to have resorted to intimidation of the officer and later assaulted him. She went further to confiscate the police EPS gadget two phones belonging to the police officer. She is currently under detention as investigations are being conducted.

Crook Kejriwal is behaving like police have done some Maha-Paap.. And then see how he plays.... As soon as the news came out the police wanted to ask questions to his parents, he forced his parents to walk outside in the hot summer so that his cameramen could record it, allowing him to play a sympathy card.
