@kwame_mckenzie That was what happened in Ontario. Very successful pilot. Then people chose a non existent Buck-A-Beer over $2,000 a month basic income

A government job guarantee is better: 1 Communities get what they need 2 People are valued and improve self-esteem 3 Workers pay taxes 4 Workers improve their skills 5 No benefits/welfare are needed Read Modern Money Theory

This sounds a lot like Trudeau’s woke economics where deficits solve themselves out, but magically inflate and double the national debt.

It’s always funny to me that people think that these UBI “experiments” actually prove that UBI works But, are they measuring the cost? No. The cost is hidden. What happens when UBI actually is implemented… you know… universally? You cannot hide the cost at that time.
