Former hostage Daniela Gilboa was forbade from singing in Hebrew, so each Shabbat, she sang Shalom Aleichem in Arabic. I’d really like to see her compete in Eurovision. 💙

Oh my heart!! This is Daniella Gilboa who was a hostage in Gaza. She tells the story that on Shabbat while she was captive, she wanted to sing the song that Jews around the world sing every Friday night, Shalom Aleichem. But she knew that if Hamas heard her singing a song in Hebrew, it would not end well. So she learned the song in Arabic and sang in captivity. Chills in my entire body!

Saudi guy 🇸🇦 in the car Max: “I’m from Israel.” This man doesn’t skip a beat: Starts belting “Shalom aleichem, shalom aleichem…” Full volume. Laughing. Vibing. Max is dying. Then: “You support Israel?” “No, I support Palestine.” Max: “Bro… you just sang an entire Hebrew peace song.” Guy: “I’m Muslim, I support Muslims.” Cognitive dissonance so strong it needs its own passport. Still ends the call singing the same song together like old friends. עם ישראל חי 🇮🇱🇸🇦😂🔥🤡💀 שתפו.

🔥 Small house fire 🔥 Just another test from HaShem as He forges his soldier in steel. I passed…again. I’m ok. Just sucked in a ton of burning plastic fumes. Oxygen back up to 96% and going higher. Shabbat shalom and have a great weekend. Shalom aleichem 🙏🏼

Shabbat Shalom from Jaffa 🇮🇱 What a beautiful moment it is to see Israelis dancing in public. We cannot allow our enemies to take away our joy.

ROSALÍA talks about the saints who inspired her to sing in each language on her new album “LUX”. “And then, when I’m singing in French, for example, in Germany, there is inspiration from Joan of Arc. When I’m singing in Mandarin, there is inspiration from Sun Bu’er. When I’m singing in Hebrew, there is inspiration from Miriam. When I’m singing in Ukrainian, for Saint Olga of Kiev, there is inspiration from Saint Rose of Lima and Saint Teresa. I mean, the list is long: Rabia, Adawiya, this woman who was so significant in Sufism, etc. So I was thinking: why not use these languages to, in some way, channel a bit from there?”

A California high school bans a student from performing at her talent show because her song was in Hebrew. Since when did singing in your own language become offensive? Is this really the message we’re sending to Jewish kids? Watch her story and share your thoughts below.

In 2016, while in Paris for Fashion Week, Lady Gaga was at Azzedine Alaïa’s private workshop for fittings, she heard a group of fans outside singing to her, so she went outside, borrowed a fan’s guitar, and sang with them ♥️

#TheWhiteLotus Season 3 Actresses: Michelle, Aimee & Natasha about #LISA: Michelle: She really is lovely, …. And she's so incredible in the show. I love that storyline between her and Tame. I think this is her first acting job and she's incredible in it. My daughter was visiting me on set and my daughter was gobsmacked to be able to see like, you know, Lisa from Blackpink, of course, was really cool for her, And so it was just lovely to have her on set and around. Aimee: She’s like the most down to earth. She's so chill. Like you would not think that she had that stratospheric fame. Like she's so cool. Natasha: She's so incredibly gracious. She's so cool and obviously, the audiences in the US know her from Blackpink but she is Thai, and she's out of control famous there and she's so grounded, so humble, so sweet, and just to see her move through the sets and locations and people were screaming for her.…, and she's just so warm, and she's so good in the show. Audiences are going to be blown away by her performances, truly. Aimee: She was really good at being social, she was so good at bringing people i was not i was a little bit of recluse out there but she was really good at kind of hosting parties in her villa and things like that she was so lovely and like organizing special fun things for everyone she was just the coolest. 🔗 Hits Radio LLOUD #LalisaManobal #LISAxTheWhiteLotus
