A system designed to fuck you over and keep it that way.

It’s not just the IRS. Many companies operate like this and employees often just go along with it for fear of losing their jobs. The companies we patronize literally find any way to screw you and the entry level worker takes the blame when you call in cursing them out.

There’s a term we used for this working in the call center… it’s called “Ask don’t offer” This is great info to have for the IRS- The cell phone/internet/television service companies charge “taxes & regulatory fees” that can be credited when “requested” as well What a racket

Start a consultancy firm selling the info that you know relatively cheap so that people know of and how to claim the benefits the IRS hides

The government doesn't inform us of all our rights. Government is in the business of limiting our rights (more power for them). Licensing or taxing to use our rights. Rules for thee, and not me. Having rights is one thing. Knowing them and invoking/standing on them is another.

It’s a don’t ask don’t tell system. If you’re not asking the right questions they will not volunteer and tell you anything that can benefit you . The Social Security Administration seems to follow these guidelines too.

She’s not lieing. You go through 11 weeks training and then you get thrown in to see just how messed up this antiquated system is for real. Also, as a collective they offic environment is mean and contentious about “tenure”. They treat new hires like dog shit.

Most don’t know that taxes was never was passed into law. It’s voluntary. They mislead everyone to this day period.

Same thing with Criminal law. The Citizen is expected to know the Rules of Criminal Procedure. Most do not. So, court appointed lawyers sacrifice the ones who do not know... and they run from those that do.

I doubt she was even an IRS employee. Sound’s like she messed up her taxes and is making ragebait. An IRS employee doesn’t know what you’re eligible for. You have to tell them that because it’s not like they can just look your name up and see the $563 you spent on scratch tickets
