❕ Andriy Yermak has arrived at Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court The second hearing on pre-trial restrictions for the former head of the Presidential Office is set to take place today. Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities claim Yermak was involved in laundering 460 million hryvnias (about $10 million). According to NABU and SAPO, the case involves a luxury real estate scheme near Kyiv through which funds were allegedly funneled as part of an organized criminal group. SAPO is requesting either detention or bail set at 180 million hryvnias (about $4.5 million). The first part of the hearing will be held behind closed doors. Media representatives will be allowed into the courtroom after the break. Yermak denies all allegations.

Play has been called at DLF and the driving range is about to become a concert area, but one man is out there still working on his game under the lights, Bryson DeChambeau. He’ll return tomorrow morning at 7:35 (visibility depending) with a 16 foot putt for par on 17, before completing his first round. Then there’s a quick turnaround before the start of his second. He’s currently 2 under par but says he’s playing great, just “rusty”, and they made some bad club selections on an unfamiliar course which led to mistakes. But make no mistake, he is well in this golf tournament.

BAIL DENIED: Former agriculture minister Mac-Albert Hengari (59) and his 30-year-old co-accused were denied bail during Hengari’s first appearance in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court this morning. Steven Kampfer has announced his retirement from professional hockey after nine seasons in the NHL. Steven was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the fourth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft after his freshman season at the University of Michigan, and would play all four seasons for his hometown school, winning national championships in 2008 and 2010. The defenseman joined the NHLBruins via trade in March 2010, and made his NHL debut the following season on December 12, 2010. Two months later, on February 12, 2011, he scored his first NHL goal, putting a second-period shot past Tampa Bay’s Dan Ellis. Steven appeared in 38 games for Boston during the 2010-11 campaign as he and the Bruins went on to hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup on June 15, 2011. Steven played 113 regular-season games for Boston before joining the Minnesota Wild ahead of the 2012 trade deadline. He remained with the Wild franchise until 2014, signing with the New York Rangers in July before ultimately joining the Florida Panthers for the 2014-15 season. After his time in Florida and a return to New York, Steven rejoined the Bruins from 2018-21. His final professional seasons were split between the KHL and AHL, and wrapped up with Chelyabinsk this past season.
