Good to see the young women at the end actually agree (even if unknowingly) with the demo “they’re not going into women’s sports and doing all that, just want to live their lives” That’s what demo was about, live your life but males need to respect women’s sports and spaces.

This is a pretty objective report for once - calls those rallying 'women's rights advocates' which is accurate and refreshing and notes the 'counter protesters' were the ones 'clashing with police'. Can we hope the tide has turned - even a bit?

Moira Deeming stands up for what is right and risks her personal safety for it. She deserves to be rewarded with a legislative council seat at the next election.

You say the demonstration in 2023 was gatecrashed by neo-nazis, which is better than the media did at the time, but the truth is that they were moved just close enough for some tricky camera work to make it look like they got close.

"Women's rights rally"???? It's a rally to remove legal protections for sexual orientation, intersex and gender identity by people who want to abolish the Sex Discrimination Act and deny women and girls access to basic reproductive health care.

It’s not a “gender” clash. It’s about women’s sex based rights. There are, apparently, over 76 “genders” which in the sane world, are just personalities.
