@LeilaniDowding Something like 80% of our food is dependent on pollinators. Dow and others since, have developed neonicotinoid pesticides which specifically target pollinators. Why would they do that? Notice how Bill Gates has targeted farmers via State Ag depts? Putting them out of biz?

@LeilaniDowding Insects are INCREDIBLE. 40% of insect species are in decline & 1/3 endangered. Total mass of insects has fallen by 2.5% per yr for past 25-30 yrs. In the journal Biological Conservation, scientists warned the plummeting insect numbers “threaten a catastrophic collapse of nature.”

I've truly noticed this of late. I live in a rural area, left my dandelions across 1 acre of law until late May. I have raised bed gardens. Normally at least bumble bees abound. This year nothing. At night I keep on lights outside my door. Usually lots of bugs/moths. This year almost zero.
