Interesting that those phone records Smith and his team got of the Senators, were non-content. But the Republicans are wildly outraged as if their privacy was violated even though Smith explained to them that obtaining those non-content phone records was necessary for the criminal investigation they were conducting. On the other hand, ironically, the Republicans got hold of texts between the Marshall's office and Smith, which did have content (he's sitting in Row 109 at the Hawks' game, etc.). It's all performative on the part of the MAGA Party, and it blew up in their faces well-deservedly.

Once Smith answers her first question, nothing else she says makes any sense. She heard his answer, essentially praising her brother, but because she has no idea what is going on or what she's talking about, she just continues repeating what she was told to say.
