The report states that all decisions regarding SIR were taken with the consent of the Chief Election Commissioner and the other two Election Commissioners. UPDATE (Bad): Ellis County Commissioners voted 4-1 to propose a PROPERTY TAX INCREASE!! And this follows a BOMBSHELL admission tonight from (unelected) Ellis County Judge John Wray that the county "lost" approximately 20 million tax dollars!! The Commissioners who voted FOR the proposed property tax hike were: Judge John Wray, Louis Ponder, Randy Stinson, and Kyle Butler. The only Commissioner to vote for the taxpayers and AGAINST the proposed tax hike was Matt Zajic. There will be a vote on final adoption soon, and I'll keep you posted. If you live in Ellis County, tell your Commissioners "NO TAX HIKE!"
