This man man had bought his son an iPad for Christmas. One day while visiting his son tells him that his brother keeps taking his iPad and doesn’t let him use it. The man was upset and he knows even though the other child isn’t his, he feels like he needs to speak up and set an example. He works hard to support his child and he provides for him very well. He doesn’t feel bad that the other kid’s in the house’s father’s don’t do anything for their kids, it’s not his concern. Is he wrong for talking to the other child like this, is he just looking out for his own kid, or is he being selfish and should have a little compassion because it’s not the other child’s fault their father isn’t providing for them as he should?

In this scene in the Godfather II, Frankie Pentangeli is about to testify against the Corleones in a Senate hearing. He is buoyant, basking in the attention, until he sees his brother from Sicily walk in. His brother gives him a disapproving look. In that moment he realizes that to testify against the Corleone would mean going against his own family as well, which is a bridge too far. He realizes that his deal with the government is done, and that he is most certainly a dead man. He accepts it with grace and does what he needs to do. At the end of the scene, Tom leans over to the brother and says “La famiglia è tutto,” or “The family is everything.” The family unit is the strongest force in nature. It’s something I don’t want my kids to ever forget.

In The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (Extended Edition), Karl Urban's performance as Éomer, especially when he finds his sister Éowyn at the end of the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, was absolutely incredible. Éomer, Believing his sister has been killed, he lets out a raw cry of grief and collapses beside her, a moment so powerful because, for a brief time, the audience shares his belief that she is truly gone. After all the triumph of defeating the Witch-king, the emotional cost of war suddenly comes crashing down. What makes this scene unforgettable is its authenticity. Éomer isn’t mourning a warrior or a hero, he’s mourning his last remaining family. His reaction reminds us that even in victory, war leaves behind unimaginable loss. It’s one of the most human moments in Tolkien’s story, capturing the pain, love, and sacrifice that make the Battle of the Pelennor Fields so emotionally devastating.

These are one of the few scenes in DBZ where I prefer the OG dub. Not because of the voice acting but because of the dialogue and Goku trash talking. Goku, in no uncertain terms just flat out tells Vegeta he’s stronger than him and no amount of training is going to close the gap and Vegeta is just insecure as all hell. It’s brilliant. Vegeta always referred to Goku as a low class warrior and now that same low class is big leaguing him in front of everyone, even his own son. And he says it so casually because he knows he ain’t gonna step cause he can’t do anything about it. Full circle moment.

This man sat down and recorded the most honest “Day 1” moment I’ve seen in a long time. No script, no filter — just him saying out loud, It’s real. It’s raw. And it’s me! I finally know who I AM. Whether Michael is genuinely reconnecting with Fredo or quietly testing him is left ambiguous. Either way, it’s one of the last peaceful moments they ever share.

This scene isn’t as simple as you think. it tells you exactly what you need to know about De Niro’s character. The way he sloppy walks in after taking his pants off, with two gorgeous women at his side, him waving and yelling to his friends across the bar with a grin across his face. Not to mention the red lighting and the fact that it’s filmed in slo-mo just is telling the reader this guy is slick, and an asshole. The best part is Harvey Keitel’s acting just shows that he’s looking at De Niro like, “Dude needs a mentor or something.” Even the bartender has an opinion and is chuckling and smirking as if to say, “What a douchebag!” One of the best entrances of all time and one of my favorite scenes
