Fortnite re-added bullet drop to scoped weapons

That's actually really cool. Stops players from being able to beam people form a distance, while not ruining mid-range fights. Wish they added something like this earlier lol.

This seems like a great change honestly, makes it harder to beam people out with low-skill red-dots but still keeps mid-range encounters fun

Again, W fucking change, it Is just like warzones projectile system & now long shots are gonna feel rewarding & skillful to maintain

Imagine how good the past 3 chapters would've been if they added this in chapter 4

The worst bullet drop implementation. It should be at any distance. Because imagine if your opponent is at around 100m from you: some bullets will hit instantly, and some others won't. It's just inconsistent.

Kinda defeats the point of having a scoped weapon

This is the best possible way of implementing red dot hitscan rifles and it's not even close. Hopefully doesn't get reverted in season 2 but i'm expecting it to not last forever. Probably just a test and will be reverted soon (Hopefully not)

Just what we needed. Excellent balance change to make non scoped ARs equally viable

*they added bullet drop to two weapons and it only goes into effect at 100m

Should've been the case with almost every automatic weapon, hitscan for a certain range and then drops off, like mostly every other shooter Would've helped when they changed everything back to hitscan and you'd just get beamed out of the sky, shot around corners due to ping, etc

They need to re-add weapon canting

This is a good decision by Epic but it feels really awkward. Doesn’t matter too much right now since the deadeye got vaulted.
