Not sure how anyone can look at this cartoon and call it almost photorealistic.

I don’t know man, just play it and see

I've tried, all the buildings look like cardboard like painted models made to look like real skyscrapers in old movies but you can tell they're fake. Maybe the shadows aren't quite right or the buildings lack that realistic texture but something isn't right.

@TheGameVerse Upgrade your gpu bro

@TheGameVerse Nah, I'm good. The 5080 is ok for me for now with the game running all settings on extreme.

@TheGameVerse So ether you lying about cardboard or this

@TheGameVerse Sure. Cardboard is obviously an exaggeration but the buildings don't looks realistic to me. The game has a cartoonish color scheme/palette. After all the hype about how realistic the game looks, I expected better.

The clip has been toned down because X doesn’t natively support HDR videos properly. The footage was recorded in native HDR, next time I’ll upload an SDR clip.

Realistic? Where are all the immigrants?

Plenty of realism except in the character select screen with a they/them bs option

Meanwhile NPC in driving on the center divider lmao.

Nearly photorealistic visuals… proceeds to clip a traffic light… artifacts present… near empty worlds. 🤡

Where did the windows go to as he approaches the building?

Needs darker shadows and stronger contrast. The cars look perfect, but feel overlayed in a gray world

That looks a bit too realistic

NO THEY HAVEN'T. The anti aliasing techniques are horrendous on anything that's not NVDIA, on my 7900xtx the game looks like pixelated garbage at MAX settings, game constantly crashes. These people are LYING to you so you can buy the game

Bisschen mehr Verkehr auf den Straßen wäre schon 1 nice Sache

it looks like a ps3 game bro of course its gonna run well.

The only thing really missing is a mode where there are real crash physics similair to BeamNG

what? How is it realistic at all? Even google street view is not that washed out these days

The ray tracing is so accurate 👌🏼

I agree. I'm using a RTX 4060 on ultra settings with Ray tracing at 1440p and it runs butter smooth

For those who say it’s a very minor upgrade over FH5….I can assure you it IS NOT. It’s very noticeable when you play it at home on your own setup, not just looking at clips on your phone. Together with the updated audio it is awesome.

It just looks like a video game wdym

@NikoMueller Sure, very photorealistic 🤣 even fh5 textures are better

I run the game on 1440p extreme 100+ FPS and it's NOT photorealistic.

Forza Horizon 6 is woke abortion with 40+ minutes of unskippable cutscenes, DEI prostethics and hearing aids, not to mention ugly character presets that are ugly only because whoever made the decision is a lonely, undateable fucktard No matter how good the actual game is, avoid

ghost town 😭

Look how static the scene is though. Barely any cars. No pedestrians or crowd. Static trees. Utterly lifeless. You pay a hefty price for this lighting. It's a parlour trick I can live without. I'd rather have busier cities.

So I guess we're just going to ignore the abysmal AI cars driving through structures like they're not even there?

Ngl this looks lifeless af, like everything is muted and so dark it feels like no has lived in it, when I picture Japan I see bright and colorful lights and bustling with people, idk man this just look sad to me

This is exactly why the game isn't on PlayStation today. "We only have a certain amount of…ultimately, it all comes down to resources. Not everything is limitless. So we just want to do the best job, by each platform, by each game," said Xbox Game Studios head Craig Duncan.

There's nothing to study. Theres a reason why car games always look more beautiful than the average game; its because 80% all the computing power is focused on the car's graphics, whereas the rest of the screen is creating a "moving" effect that doesn't require much computation

If you don't notice the pop in and the LOD changes you might as well be legally blind.

Meanwhile the rice growers in Forza

Nah it’s too clean. Lack of variations in texture like: dirt / humidity in corners / stains / edges worn out . Ok Japan is clean. But this is some natural time deterioration. Needed in order to look even more natural and realistic

The micro stuttering is terrible, it's very visible after the intersection. How can this be called good optimization?

Bro it's supposed to be Tokyo and streets are empty

You have been saying the same thing for every game launch since the 60s.

graphics are great, but frame pacing and traversal stutter matter more to players
