Pretty much every pendulum installation is automated, the ones that aren’t have to be started manually and regularly. This is a gimmick based off of a failed experiment. No motion of the earth can be measured or even detected on the earth, that is a fact.

the wild part is the speed depends on where you are. at the poles it swings a full circle in a day, at the equator it doesn't rotate at all
