Talking about Chatty Cathy… my older brother has kids convinced me that my sister’s chatty Cathy had a record in. He said it could be played on any record player (dating myself here 🙄🤷‍♂️). Soooo long story short, I took my sister’s doll apart, tried to play the little disc I “liberated”. Then put it all back together but for some reason 🤷‍♂️ had leftovers parts! 😳 She still gives me grief that she never talked again. 😬🥺… I was maybe 5?
