He said on social media that he was given two options: cooperate with the FSB and betray Ukraine, or refuse and lose his son. Mykhailo decided to go to Russia and try to save his son. "Once I’m in their hands, they can do whatever they want with me. But my son will live. And I hope they’ll leave him alone," he said.
