@mommadukes10704 Hell, I was in Germany in 94, gas is sold by the liter ( about 3.6 liter to the gallon ) and was nearly $4 a liter, in 94. Their infrastructure was top notch. For $2, I could get a train ticket and visit 6 cities in Germany, with a day pass.
