@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 BS!! There was no foul... Messi studs up kicked a guy in the back of the leg... no ATTEMPT on the ball and pushed him... No Foul, no yellow, no red.... BS.

@FOXSports @petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Egypt Got Robbed Period! It’s not Argentina… it’s VARgentina. The calls come included. Egypt had a penalty on Salah waved away… the play continues… Argentina scores the winner.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 So why didn’t the referee check VAR for Marmoush being pulled and Salah being fouled both in the same play in the penalty area which led to the third goal?

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 So let me get this straight you only like the rules if messi doesn’t win got it

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 I said it once , as I said it a thousand times, that there's hasn't been one single game of any world cup tournament where the officiating did not rule in favour of Argentina in having them win the game corruption at it best🤬🫵

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Funny how the FOX commentators are the only ones defending the VAR decision. Gotta back up who pays you, huh? Everyone knows, bro. We have eyes.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 I was interested in soccer for the first time this World Cup...However, the more games I watched, with the fake injuries, inconsistent penalties, no visible clock, biased officials, etc., the more more I began to hate soccer. Four years off will be beneficial.

In the match between Algeria vs Austria, after stringing together a record-breaking 109 consecutive passes over five and a half minutes, Riyad Mahrez finished the possession with a goal. Using this logic the VAR could go back at any point during that APP to rule out the goal. Surely logic dictates there must be a limit to the inquisition.…are we going to search for five minutes to look for a toe getting stepped on along the way? Pierluigi Collina himself has said “VAR is there to fix obvious errors, not to go looking for fouls”. I feel like we’ve stepped back in time into covid Premier League VAR protocol here dissecting with the intent to overturn. This is not the intention of the tool.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Every time the commentary team asks him for an opinion. He waits for the decision to be made then just back the referee no matter how terrible the call was

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 And if your right then why didn’t that happen when Argentina scored against Austria after MaCallister clearly fouled the Austrian player in midfield? Or the rule only applies to countries you don’t want to see in the higher levels of the tournament? Just absolute garbage

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 The inconsistencies is the issue, not the rules per se. Argentina is hardly on the other end of VAR challenges or discrepancies, always the rewarded team. 🤷🏾♂️

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 This looked like every other defender in every other match I’ve watched. I’ve seen harder hits, tugs, bumps in the last two weeks that got no call, then this BS. FIFA AGENDA at work. Sad.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Fox thinks you’re stupid. A little dog a pony show, some old guy that looks credible, people will still belive it’s all in the hands of the players. Our viewers are stupid they’ll belive it.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Not only is there plenty of opportunity for Argentina to get possession back - there's plenty for them to take a professional foul to stop any Egypt possession they felt was unduly gained. Argentina did neither but somehow VAR was allowed to do so for them after the fact. #smh

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 you guys gotta get some better (and younger) rules experts, good lord.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 FIFA rigs the tournament in favor of Argentina. It's a disgrace to the sport.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Today’s match was blatantly called in favor of Argentina. The Egyptian manager and team have every right to call out what happened today. This is WAY WORSE than the Balogun suspension being lifted. @FIFAcom are corrupt and biased towards Messi and Argentina.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Yeah but be fucking consistent 🙄 not just one sided

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 According to this, the goal of the century at Azteca should have not been valid. There’s a foul prior to the goal.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 This is bullshit. This rule isn’t being applied evenly. This isn’t even a foul. What a joke.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Did he say this when @Argentina was given a goal for the same actions? No he didn’t… @FIFAWorldCup has RIGGED this entire tournament because it was promised to Argentina and that RAT Messi 3000 years ago…

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 This case will open a pandora box . For any referee to back 5 mins in time to disallow goals

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 So the Messi goal vs Austria?? I remember people saying the goal is important in that case..double standards and decisions based on who is fouled.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 I can honestly say football players are some of the most dense people. I actually thought K Schmeichel looked smart but once he opens his mouth all that goes away

@FOXSports @petercrouch @kschmeichel1 The problem is they dont apply the rule equally. Argentina have done this on three occasions and gotten away wigh their goals.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Respect Schmeichel to speak up for football! Not VARgentina

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 VAR has not been good look for the World Cup. Between the red cards to this foul it’s just ridiculous that this sport allows a robot to call the game vs the referee.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 With due respect to Casper, if this is in the rulebook then this shouldn’t be an argument. Yes, it was a beautiful goal, it’s a shame that it was overturned. But, if you’re not happy with a this rule, take it up with FIFA. Until the rule is changed all this argument is pointless

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Yet another moment we can point to that VAR/technology has taken away from the spirit of the game. Was it the correct call? Yes. Does it take away a beautiful moment? Also yes.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 How about the foul that led to the third goal for Argentina?

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 VAR has destroyed the game.

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 What about Argentina’s last goal, no foul against Salah in the box? Not even allow VAR?

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Boo-chit

@petercrouch @kschmeichel1 Imagine taking away that Egypt goal & allowing this more blatant clear & obvious foul that is much much closer to goal & yet it's not called by ref or reviewed by VAR & allowed to stand for Messi/ Argentina. 😂👍🏽
