When in 2019, we were playing a series against Bangladesh in Rajkot, once I didn't have a great day and only got one wicket, so he came to me and spoke to me personally in the dressing room. The team was leaving the stadium and he stayed back to have a one on one with me and told me how I should be. He told me that I am unaware of my own capabilities. In a country where Black men already carry heavy stereotypes, there are certain lines you don’t cross when it comes to each other, not for clicks, not for strategy, not for a win. And Kendrick? For many, he wasn’t just any rapper. He was supposed to be different. The one people pointed to as “principled”, representing something deeper for blacks. That’s why it hit harder, and many of us are now angry and stand against him on principle. For many of us, it’s not even about picking sides; at first, it’s about the standard. Because if Drake (my favorite rapper of all time) had said the same things about Kendrick, I’d feel the same way. No hesitation- I would have cut him off like I did Kendrick. Some accusations don’t stay in music; they follow real people, real lives. And putting that on a Black man, knowing how this country and most of the world already operate? That’s where many of us draw the line. So yeah- this video captures it perfectly. The frustration. The disappointment and the shift in many of us. A guy in Calgary told me we’re not even allowed to discuss Alberta independence. Think about that. Apparently in Canada, we’re only allowed to talk about approved political topics. Then he said Alberta leaving Canada isn’t legal because one judge said the petition can’t be counted. So I asked him: If that decision was successfully appealed, would that change your mind? He said no. And that’s the whole point. For a lot of people, “it’s not legal” is not actually a legal argument. It’s just a talking point. The second the legal process doesn’t support them anymore, they still oppose it anyway. Quebec had two referendums. The Supreme Court already dealt with the issue of secession. But somehow when Alberta wants to even talk about it, people act like the conversation itself is forbidden. All the more reason for Alberta to quickly get off this dystopian train.

If it’s true that a man who protested in Dublin last week has taken his own life this morning because of stress and pressure, then something is seriously wrong in this country. Even one person being pushed that far is too much. We can’t just sit back waiting for politicians to sort it out or for a motion of no confidence. That’s not going to fix anything. The people put them in power and the people can take it back, but only if we actually show up in numbers. Real numbers. Hundreds of thousands. Posting online and complaining isn’t enough. Our thoughts on this entire situation regarding Connor McDavid. Anyone that owns or runs a business knows that uncertainty is never a good thing for your business, the fact we sit here 21 days till Opening Night & Connor McDavid isn’t signed to a contract extension is not good for your business & it’s bad management that it’s gotten to this point. The uncertainty of Connor McDavid signing or not signing isn’t good. Ken Holland created a great culture & since he’s left that culture isn’t the same anymore. Connor McDavid knows it. Holland wasn’t treated right in his last year in Edmonton. When in the history of game has a GM taken his team to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, lost but then wasn’t brought back? Holland would have stayed on to see this through but someone in Edmonton didn’t respect Holland enough to keep him around. It’s pretty clear though that Connor McDavid is leaving after this interview & that’s a great thing for the NHL even better for the NHLPA because Connor McDavid should be & will be the first player in the history of the game to make $20M on an AAV & that’s not going to happen in Edmonton but it will happen on another team that’s setup better to win as soon as he joins that new team. There’s a good chance the new team McDavid signs with won’t have multiple players making $10M or more. He might be the only one. That will set him & that team up to win many The Stanley Cup No one knows more about the game than Connor McDavid & he knows you can’t win a Cup with 3 to 4 players making $10M or more. It’s never going to happen. Play this year out & move on. Even if the Oilers do win the Cup this year moving on is the best thing for his career & even growing the game. There will be better options come July 1st 2026. Being around Team Canada players & Coaches will/should play a factor in his decision to find a better home once he’s a UFA. The business him & his wife own here can still run even if he’s gone, it’s runs fine when they go to Toronto for 10 weeks straight in the summer time. ⚠️🚨STATEMENT REGARDING CHEATING A few days ago, we played a match in the Champion of Champions Tour CS2 tournament against the team Khan, and we have strong reasons to believe that this team does not win matches in the spirit of fair play. As you can see in the attached video, rotations are occurring without any information, just like in many other rounds, and also involve locking through walls, etc. This is not the first time suspicions of cheating have appeared on the Tier 2/3 scene. We all surely remember, for example, the team Senza. We decided to wait a few days to see how the situation would develop, but we can no longer remain silent. In the meantime, matches have taken place against teams such as EYEBALLERS and SINNERS Esports, where the same situations occurred as in our game. Therefore, we kindly ask all organisers, especially Champion of Champions Tour CS2, to put an end to this, to actively investigate such cases, and to stop inviting suspicious teams to their tournaments. A loss is a loss, but it must be fair — that’s what esports is about. By ignoring this problem, we are hurting not only the players but also the fans, who should be at the heart of it all. It also tends to assume that we can freeze frame at some point in society and say, 'Well, we have enough different kinds of sneakers, enough different kinds of housing, we just need to allocate it better.' And that is not how anything works. David Deutsch has a great definition of wealth, which he says is the set of physical transformations that we can affect. So, when you think about it that way, you realize that knowledge is not just stored capital in the classic Marxist sense (capital vs. labor), but it's also knowledge on what to do with that capital. The cavemen or Palaeolithic ancestors had access to all the same resources we did. They were living on the same Earth, and by the modern environmentalist arguments, they had a better Earth—they had more to do things with. But yet, they couldn't do anything. They were not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination. Why? Because of knowledge. Life is not a zero-sum game, it's a positive-sum game. But we are hardwired to think it's a zero-sum game because, for millions or billions of years, there was no such thing as wealth. There was no such thing as persistent knowledge creation in the environment. What you had was a small amount of resources being divided up, and most of the games were status games—'Which monkey outranks which other monkey?' And that decides which monkey gets to eat first. We played that game for a billion years. Now, we come onto a recent game where, actually, we can all eat, and the big problem is obesity. It's no longer starvation. The big problem is boredom. It's not actually work. There's enough work. So, in this environment, switching your evolved mindset from a zero-sum game to a positive-sum game where we can all win, if we create knowledge together and use the resources that we have to create more resources and more wealth, that's the game we all need to be playing now.

This was about actually giving up the win btw, not just letting someone past on a different strategy. This is a winner and a winner's mentality and everyone at the top knows that this is what you have to do to win so I dont know why people on this platform are being purposefully dense about it. Michael, Fernando, Seb, Max, they all would not accept losing time to the second driver teammate for a moment and neither will Lewis. The loser's mentality of citing a lack of chances in the title fight might cut it with Charles, it won't with a 7x world champion. You lose a handful of points here, a handful of points in Spa, a handful of points in every race and suddenly that adds up to an immense margin. Ferrari have a slither of a chance of winning this title with Lewis, not with Charles. This team hasn't won in two decades, now is not the time to throw in the towel prematurely. This is a competitive sport, not a charity organization. If Mercedes feel the pressure, they won't hesitate to make the call, even did so yesterday. Same goes for Mclaren and Red Bull. Championships are won and lost by these decisions and that's why Ferrari haven't been serious contenders in ages. Leclerc had the opportunity to fight for this title, he no longer does and must now play the role of the supporting cast. They'll hate to hear it but yes, he is now Lewis' Bottas for as long as Ferrari want to be serious about winning this season.
