Another example of terrible roads in eastern Ukraine, in this case near the village of Dmytrivka, Donetsk Oblast, just west of Kramatorsk. The car needs to slow down and even stop often because of the holes in the road, which disturbs the supply flow to Ukrainian-controlled Donbas, as well as makes the trips much less safe because of more exposure to Russian FPVs, especially in the future when they will reach this road, too. Fortunately, roads in Donetsk Oblast aren't as terrible as the ones farther away from big cities like Kramatorsk, where renovation works are fortunately ongoing. The video was recorded on March 24th. Currently, Russian Molniya-2 drones can reach this road.

Manuvering through the territory of the substation, Russian drone operator is able to reach and hit the main transformer. The transformer is seen covered by a hastily constructed sarcophagus, presumably for protection against Shahed/Geran-type long-range OWA-UAVs. It didn't help much against a more maneuverable FPV drone that reached the target from an underside.

Police Statement: Serious Fail to Stop Collision, Kings Road, Bradford At 5.28am today (Sunday), a BMW M3 failed to stop for police when requested to do so in Canal Road, Bradford. A pursuit was authorised and the vehicle turned into Kings Road, where it was almost immediately involved in a collision with two parked cars. The driver and the female occupant of the BMW were taken to hospital where they were found to have suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries. A scene is in place covering both sides of Kings Road and Swain House Road. This is likely to remain in place for a few more hours today and people are advised to avoid the area while recovery and scene examination work continues.

🚨 ANIMAL RESCUE ALERT! 🚨 There is an animal shelter in Clay County, Florida called Safe Animal Shelter SafeAnimalShelter that might close down because the road construction in the area has shut down the main road where people come in to adopt animals, make donations, and save the animals in the shelter. Safe Animal Shelter is the oldest “No Kill” animal shelter in Clay County, FL! The road closure is expected to last for 18 months!!!! This is terrible. The shelter relies on donations, and because the road is blocked, people can’t come in to make donations or adopt the animals, which has caused their donations to drop by 60%! Hopefully, Governor Ron DeSantis can get involved and demand that the county reopen the road or change their hours for construction so that we can save these animals and prevent the animal rescue from shutting down due to a road closure! After a record year of 29 fatal traffic collisions in 2024, we’ve already had 3 fatal collisions so far in 2025 & we’re still in the first month of the New Year. People’s lives have been forever changed by these tragedies & it has to stop. This is an alarming trend that cannot continue. 🗣 2024 marked the highest number of fatal collisions since 2013, a continuation of a year-over-year increase in collisions since 2021. It was also the highest year for pedestrian fatalities since 2005. Having the right of way does not always mean it is safe to proceed. Whether in a marked crosswalk or driving through a green light, it is crucial for all road users to first establish that it is in fact safe to proceed. As the city’s population continues to grow, that means there are more vehicles & more people using Calgary roads. We all need to look out for one another when driving, walking, cycling or using other modes of transportation. Road safety is everyone’s responsibility. We’re encouraging motorists to continue to drive safe all year round, no matter the weather or road conditions. We all deserve to make it home safe to our families every day. Farmers in Nyazvidzi, Gutu are complaining against the use of Gutu - Buhera earth road by Chinese haulage trucks enroute to Beira from Sino-run Bikita Minerals. What infuriate farmers is that Sino Mine does not contribute anything to the maintenance of the road. The trucks leave the earth road heavily damaged and only usable by all-terrain vehicles. Recently vehicles could not pass through the road for almost 2 weeks after a haulage truck ferrying minerals from Bikita got stuck in the middle of the road. A road engineer said Gutu-Buhera Road used to be classified as a gravel road but it has since been downgraded to an earth road because of poor maintenance. No haulage truck can use an earth road because of weight. Bikita Minerals Spokesperson Collen Nikisi tried to dissociate his company from the haulage truck but the goods carried had the company's logo.
