Surprisingly tough, carbon-fiber-framed FPVs are not easy to shoot down, since FPV racing drones were built to handle high-speed crashes Here a Ukrainian FPV is attacking an IFV, and the vehicle's dismounts shoot back. The FPV is hit, but is undeterred and completes the mission.

The Russians are apparently trying to build simple rewinding machines for fiber optic FPV spools. Buying fiber cable in bulk and rewinding it onto printed spools is a lot cheaper than buying wound spools from China.
