I don't mind if God gives more graces to others. I can only affirm my admiration to the saints and guiding models to my life.

Can’t stand the “why bad things happen” crowd…God came to earth lived poor, was betrayed, was tortured, lied upon…yet he did good anyway. We literally all have the cheat code to life in the Bible. God will shine his light on you this life or the next.

Pine is so nice, and at moments he looks at Alex with so much compassion. Great example of good thomistic apologetics with love.

I disagree. It's hard for us to understand the meaning of life in the perspective of someone living in the flesh. But it will make sense in Heaven John 3:12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

He said “we’re never going to get to to bottom of it, but by continuing to ask the question we can get a hint of it”

I like Fr. Pine, but this was a terrible explanation. He didn't really even try to answer the question at all yet said a tremendous number of words, all pregnant with meaning, none of which answering the question. We need to do better with this one.
