Fractured knee cap, missing tail … this poor #raccoon had been through a lot! 🦝🩹 Surgery to close the wound where his tail used to be was a success. With treatment, his knee cap is expected to fully heal. The curious patient is already climbing and exploring with ease!

Courage made it through the surgery and met us today with a wagging tail and his beautiful smile 💖 The surgeon installed plates on both sides of his jaw to fix the broken bones. However, it will take several months for it to heal completely. To donate 🙏🏼

It is one of the first government hospitals in India where robotics has been used to perform the procedure... This is quite convenient for the surgeries that are easy, but with complex cases or with deformities, we are concerned with the level of success rate... I am thankful to the government of India, the Prime Minister and our Executive Director... The patient was a 66-year-old lady that came to us with severely deformed knee and we performed this surgery with robot. The patient is doing well... This is the first government institution in Odisha and probably the first in India to have this gadget... When we do this surgery manually, it takes around 30-60 minutes, but with robotic equipment, it took us few minutes extra because it takes time to get the exact precision. When we get acquainted with the device, we will be able to perform this faster... It is like driving a car that takes time to get acquainted with the entire system..."

Brock Bowers - huge update If you watched the play, you can see the defender hit his right knee, and the inside of his right knee buckled a little bit. What was lost in translation was that his left knee landed hard on the turf in a flexed position. Up until today, we knew that he was dealing with a knee injury, but no specifics. Now we have video of him practicing with a brace on his left knee. So essentially his right knee got lucky, but his left knee was actually the problem. He’s likely dealing with a grade one, mild, PCL sprain of the left knee. As a result, he is low risk for significant injury, and will play on Monday night and should not have any restrictions or dips in performance. For comparison, last year, Puka Nacua had a grade 2 moderate PCL spray. If Bowers were to land on this knee again in a flex position, there’s a possibility that happens. I’m excited to see Bowers’s play in a potential shootout against the Chargers on Monday night.

💔 🚨 Barry has a cancerous mass on his back leg. He’s going into surgery soon. I felt a lump by his knee and I was hoping it was his knee cap. His kneecap did move, but it’s on the inside of his leg now. We did an aspiration biopsy and we can’t deny the malignant cells. It will take about two weeks for a pathology report. His spina bifida (the brain damage) makes the surgery very high risk. Please send all of your energy to Dr Mike’s healing hands.

It’s my understanding the Eagles are holding Jaire Alexander out of Monday night’s game to set forth the best course of action with his knee recovery and allow him to get better acquainted with the defense, so he is good to go for the rest of the season and the playoffs Jaire Alexander told me in the locker room that his knee felt the best it has since knee surgery and recovery and preseason with the Ravens.
