And he played with some of the worst 49ers teams!

The U backfield of Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, and Willis McGahee...SMH.

It still makes mad how Harbs couldn't hand him the ball once in goal in the SB?! Cmoooon.

His ran with such a low center of gravity. So much fun to watch play.

Constantly running with 8 or 9 in the box since we couldn’t throw the ball all those years too. He put up his numbers when teams focused on stopping him.

The Inconvenient Truth

@MsFaceDownAssUp Was number 1 on the RB depth chart before he hurt his knee‼️ The players on that list sounds made up Now 😳

I watched Gore his whole career. He was the definition of a workhorse, especially later in his career. Always picked up the tough yards, always fell forward, and would hit a homerun a few times a year. I think he had some electric games, but I would just call him excellent.

Super

Frank da Tank

Joe, Flash 80, Steve, Ronnie Lott, Frank. There it is.

He was special!

So underrated!

Most Underrated RB*

One of the only bright sports for several of those early seasons.

The most overrated running back ever.

Inconvenient truth

He was fun to watch.

He was the truth!!

He was small, he was slow, and he was one of the greatest RB’s of all time!

He really wasn’t.

In the 37 years that Frank Gore played in the NFL, he never led the league in rushing. But @frankgore did disrespect Barry Sanders by passing him w/ garbage time. Gore should have not been selfish for an extra game check & let Barry keep his place. An asterisk is needed. 🗑️

Bound for the Hall of Fame

Never ever took big hits. He was so slippery

Gore kind of reminds me of this generations Emmitt Smith. He was not flashy. He just ran hard, hard good vision, and got north and south. No wasted steps.
