Frank Zappa was a force of nature.

One step below God.

Frank gave Alice Cooper a chance when no one else did. Man is a legend.

Zappa trivia - On Frank's left side you catch a glimpse of a man just standing on stage, no instrument. That's Frank's personal bodyguard, John Smothers. Frank couldn't be too careful after almost getting killed by a deranged fan years before. John Smothers IS Bald Headed John.

And to think he got his start playing a bicycle for Steve Allen.

Frank deserved, still does to be amongst the greatest American musicians!!! Any superlative is not enough!!!

Genius. Hearing orchestras play his music and how challenging they all say it is. Amazing his body of work while being a great player , showman , personality and perfectionist.

He could compose music in his head....all the parts were charted and written for the musicians to follow..he heard it all in his mind

He was genius, also.

I compare this solo against any in modern music. It on my top list of Solos . If you don’t “travel” with the sound of this solo, then you are dead!!!!

Fantastic, unique guitarist too!

Perfect in its imperfection.

The guy was a musical genius. Saw him in concert 1970.

Sure was. Saw him twice and actually got to talk to him on a news magazine program I attended being taped.

One of a kind.

Too bad his songs were pure shite

Genius

Le passage que tu vient de passer est dans cet extrait de concert. Ce mec a plus de 600 albums (bootlegs & videos compris de Zappa).

He was the Muffin Man!

One of the best concerts I went to and also one of the worst concerts I ever went to.
