But according to the owner, the footage tells a different story. He says the video shows no other vehicle pushing her off the road. Instead, it captures her looking down at her phone and texting before drifting into a ditch and striking a mailbox. The repair costs were estimated at around $5,000 which is more than the car’s value. Now the owner claims the account given to insurance does not match what appears on the recording, and legal action is underway. Should she be banned from the app, or investigated for filing a false claim?
