I am crying!!!! This made me positively weep cause I am 65 years old now, and I vividly remember when this song first came out in the late 70’s. We memorized every word of this song, my friends and I, and we sang along with such joy. We had no idea what was coming our way. The gulf war. 9/11. ISIS. Israel versus Palestine.…… we were caught up in a perfect moment in time during the most perfect summer of our lives. And like Freddy Mercury, we thought it would never end.

There’s sure to be better stuff somewhere. Though, personally, I’ve not seen any. But then, I’m only 68.

They moved to Britain when he was 18. So many of the ‘make Britain white’ crowd love his music, yet they don’t remember he was an immigrant who came to this country to find shelter from a chaotic revolution.
