Took a bit of electric power to manufacture the needed equipment, and the materials weren’t free either. The set up is powering an efficient low energy bulb. So the output is not big. All things considered probably not cheap electric energy, definitely not free.

This isn't 'free energy' - this is simply converting one form of energy to another form of energy.

I’ve worked kitchens where the fryer oil was powering more appliances than this contraption.
