Where are double evos

I appreciate the free evo, but for most of them I have at least 1 or 2 shards that I've worked hard to get. It feels unfair for the overflow to be converted to 1000 cards of the chosen evo rather than converted to evo wildshards, or a random evo shard. Pls can this be changed?
