Finding twitter scraping bots with Gatsby Sometimes the alpha is on-chain, other times you need an off-chain setup. The latter is often the case with tokens that are born out of activity on X. One recent example is Moonkin , which pumped after Vitalik posted about it here: You knew Moonkin would pump if Vitalik mentioned it but you can't build a scraper yourself. How to profit from this? The video shows an example of how you can find scraper bots that do the dirty work for you and allow you to make money in your sleep. I first met Kirk Loco when I was in Ireland, reporting on their protests against massive immigration of military-aged men from the Third World. One day Kirk made a post on Twitter, republishing a public comment made by a woman about an incident on a public bus. According to the woman, there was a migrant man exposing himself to everyone on the bus — and she even had a photo of the man. But the Irish police claimed that the comment isn’t true — even though there is plenty of evidence that there was a serious incident on the bus. Instead of charging the migrant, they’ve charged Kirk, with publishing fake news. It’s the first time that law has ever been used, and it’s obvious they’re targeting Kirk because of his political views. Legal aid is available in Ireland, but in the Irish criminal justice system, most lawyers simply recommend a plea deal — confess your crime, pay a fine, and you’re done. It’s the easy way out. But what if your so-called crime was a thought crime? And what if pleading guilty is tantamount to renouncing your deeply-held convictions? That’s the situation Kirk is in. I flew out to Dublin to meet Kirk, and his new, principled lawyers: Laoise de Brun and Padraig Langsch. They’re not going to plead Kirk guilty — in fact, they’re already fighting hard for more disclosure from the government. Your right to gather news. Your right to physically enter someone else’s property. Only the first one is close to absolute. The First Amendment protects speech and the press. It does not give journalists a free pass to plan a disruption of a church service, storm a church, blatantly ignore instructions to leave, and stop parishioners who are praying just so you can interview them for content later. Don wasn’t just filming. He actively participated. A church is private property. “Open to the public” is conditional, not permanent consent. If you’re told to leave and you refuse, that’s trespass. No sign is required. Calling this a “dictator playbook” or an “assault on democracy” is just narrative padding. If this were about punishing speech, that would be a real First Amendment issue. It’s not, it’s about conduct. Same with the grand jury talk. Grand juries decide probable cause, not guilt. That’s not corruption, that’s basic law. And search warrants don’t equal tyranny either. A judge signs them based on probable cause. If they’re wrong, you challenge them in court. That’s the system working. You can support a free press and still say this plainly: journalism is not a hall pass.
