People tell you it isn't possible even with modding - but they're wrong! They simply underestimate what this game can be, because they don't like what EA represents to them. I won't bother telling you how much time and energy goes into my mod - but the details matter and when I see people making these huge sweeping statements with no real knowledge on what they're saying it's frustrating! Hey everyone. Hope you guys have been well. I've been meaning to show off more of what I have been working on; I've just been working on this silently. This mod is still a work in progress, but as you can see, it gives the game a whole new feel when it comes to TV broadcasts. (Please ignore the way I am playing; I am just trying to show off the features.) There are camera cuts for almost every single scenario, just like a real-life football broadcast, and it's still being tweaked. The idea is for the game to feel more like you're watching/playing a live TV match. Now I know there will be some who might find the cuts jarring, but you are given freedom to customise it to your liking, but trust me when you get the hang of it, it feels so satisfying to play with, and it really immerses you to a whole new level that I don't think we've been able to get in a lot of these sports sim games. I hope to release it soon. It still has some bugs, and there are still things I'm tweaking, but there will be a free version of this mod for anyone wondering. Also, you can see the other things I've been working on, like the new realistic turf and the new lighting that affects the actual grass stripes realistically, also the new crowd and also the other adjustments to the stadium – you can see I've added a lot of detail to this, so please let me know your thoughts. I was going to post yesterday. But coincidentally enough, I saw a very beautiful-looking broadcast camera behaviour mod by FletchAJX and 🏆. I assume it was Fletch who modified it, but regardless it looks very beautiful, and hopefully these two mods can work in unison together. Right now, by the looks of it, we're going to be very close to having a football simulation that simulates almost everything perfectly in terms of the visuals and presentation. THE BEST VISUAL CUE To Make Shots CONSISTENTLY In #NBA2K27…👀 I Went From PUSH TIMING, To SET POINT TIMING, And Now To JUMP TIMING For My Jumpshot This Year… And I Think I Finally Found What Works BEST For ME With 2K Slowing Down A Lot Of The Jumpshots This Year, It Only Made Sense For Me To Try And Work Against That By Speeding Up My Button Timing. So Far, Since Changing My Visual Cue From A LATER Point In My Jumpshot To The EARLIEST POINT, It Made ALL The Difference With Knowing My Timing More Consistently And WAY More Accurately Whether I’m Shooting: Standstill Shots Off-The-Dribble Shots Fadeaways Everything Feels WAY Better On JUMP TIMING For Me This Year And I Honestly Think For A Lot Of COMP Players… JUMP TIMING Could Be The WAVE BUT IT ALL COMES DOWN TO “YOUR TIMING” This Is The MOST IMPORTANT Thing I Want Everybody To Understand! You Need To Ask Yourself: “AM I TIMING MY JUMPSHOT EARLY OR LATE?” Once You Can Answer That Question Truthfully, You Should Have A MUCH Better Idea Of Which Visual Cue To Pick - If You Tend To Time Your Jumpshot EARLY → Try JUMP TIMING - If You Tend To Time Your Jumpshot LATE → Try SET POINT TIMING I Personally Feel Like These 2 Are The MOST CONSISTENT Timings In The Game Right Now I’m Shooting With A 70+ 3PT SHOT And I’m Still Able To GREEN Consistently Using These Timings - PUSH TIMING Push Timing Has SO MANY Awkward Visual Cues To Pick Up On This Year, But If You’re Somebody Who Naturally Tends To Time Their Jumpshot LATE, This Timing Might Still Be The BEST Option For You... Information about tomorrow's launch of the #FM26 3d stadium megapack! First off, really freaking hyped for it, but it is also making me a bit nervous! Been a month in the making now and super cool to see it rolled out and well over beta, but for everyone is really different! Well, this post will contain info on how I roll it out tomorrow. Release time: So I have made the decision to launch the megapack at around 12:00 tomorrow Central European Time. Gives me a bit of time to get up, do final checks and that. Support: I will be streaming for the hours following on from that with the stream starting at about 11:30. I'll be there, probably making stadiums and providing support. I will also release a simultaneous video at 12:00 on my own YouTube channel. In that I will go over the process of installation, some customization you can have and how to do them, as well as chat about current challenges and planned features. Features: The pack features an initial 120 stadiums from (mostly) the top 5 European Leagues. Furthermore, there will be certain stadiums from South America in it for the first version. For more information, consult the google sheet in the follow up post below. It contains a custom made crowd system which has seen a significant performance boost causing nearly no stutters or lag, even on older hardware. The animations might look janky, but they will be worked on during post release support and updates. Bugs: Considering my level and skill in programming, it was only going to be natural that bugs would happen. I have not received any mention of either game breaking, save corrupting or other catastrophic errors. The bugs are relatively minor such as the position of the ball not always aligning or the referee and linesmen disappearing for some reason. Just like the animations of crowds, they will be ironed out over time. If you come across a bug, feel free to let me know, but do so respectfully please :D I also need to stress again, that it will not work on macbooks with apple silicon, and steam deck is still experimental. I will therefore not provide technical support for issues related to apple silicon. FAQ: Some frequently asked questions are: - Will it be free? Yes. 100%! If you see it somewhere and they're charging for it, step away, (kindly) report it to me and I will take the required actions if need be. My mods will always be free in its core, with you having the option to send a donation if you wish to do so! - Will it work on #FM24? No. Plain and simple this will not work in FM24 due to the difference in game engine. - Do I need to start a new save? Nope! Fully compatible with your saves as well as match history. So if you won the final of the UEFA Champions League in your home stadium, you can replay it with your ground ;) this is also the case for saves from FM23 and FM24. Lastly, this has been a mammoth effort, but could not have been done without the support from everyone who has been involved. In the google sheet from earlier there is a credits page and if I forgot to put anyone on there, let me know and we'll get it sorted because this has been a huge collaborative effort from so many people on the background and the talented #PES modders. My partner and I got attacked at Download Festival on Sunday. We just stopped to watch a band and a women sat about 10 feet behind us in a chair marched up behind us and shouted 'f*cking get out of my way'. We told her it's a festival, we can stand where we like and you can stand up if you want to see the band. chill out! A young women next to me said she had said the same to her. The woman then continued a tirade of verbal abuse which included, you are a pair of 'big c*ocks', and 'I am going to hit you'. She then ran up behind me, ripped my hat off my head which pulled my neck back and then threw my hat into the crowd. Her male friend then punched my partner in the face. When I turned I pushed her away from me, she then grabbed my hair and kept pulling it until I was on the ground she then repeatedly kicked me in the head, face and body with her heavy boots . Luckily some wonderful bystanders pulled her away from me, as she was much bigger than me, both in height and width. We went to the security and police and they said because I pushed her I would be offered a Community Resolution, which I refused to accept. They also said we might be evicted from the festival. We were not treated as victims of assault we were treated as trouble makers. The police failed to take a full statement from us and the Download security didn't even bother talking to us, just the people that attacked us. These terrible people weren't arrested or evicted from the festival, they were allowed to stay and to potentially go on to verbally abuse and attack other innocent people. I complained to the police and did another statement yesterday. The man taking the statement was shocked as it did not come across as we were victims at all in the statement taken at the festival. It's shocking that a police office saw the video of me on the floor being repeatedly kicked in the head and face and failed to report it correctly, identify us a victims of assault and evict or arrest our attackers. I am a 55 year old woman with epilepsy, I don't drink or take drugs, my parter is 53 and didn't drink as he was driving. I was looking forward to Download as a distraction as my Mum has just been killed by medical negligence and I have been spending my time dealing with the coroners and all that goes with it. It's been the worst time of my life and this experience has just sent me over the edge. Shame on the police for victim blaming and failing to protect the public from dangerous people. As for the person at Download security you should be ashamed of yourself, believing them over us and not bothering to collect evidence from both sides. I have attached a video of me being attacked and some photos of the aggressive woman. In one of the photos you can see her being held back, so she would have happily gone back in to attack me again. I had to go home as I didn't feel safe staying, as they were still at the festival, plus I wasn't in any fit state to stay. I currently can't work as my chest has been stamped on and i'm struggling to move and breath properly. Eating is fun as the right side of my face and teeth are really uncomfortable and my lip is cut. My vision has also been intermittently blurry and I have felt dizzy. I work for myself, so getting paid time off isn't an option. We did get some witnesses but if you or anyone you know saw this women attacking or verbally abusing anyone please let me know. Let's get the face of the women who thinks it's ok to stamp on someones face and head at Download Festival known. People like this should be banned from any festival for life. A big thanks to all the wonderful people who helped me. Download is a great festival, it's such a shame people like this spoil it for others.

Okay this place genuinely blew my mind. I could just sit and admire the views all day long. Just an hour from the airport (with super easy connectivity from most major cities), and suddenly you’re in the middle of hundreds of acres of tea estates, with clouds literally floating around you and views that don’t even feel real. My son and I went to the gym late last night to work out some stuff after 3 HS games worth of not hitting the way that he wanted. The session had both a data component and a feel / cue component. As a 17 year old who now has high 60's / low to mid 70's bat speed he has struggled in the last week - specifically against low velocity pitching - to let the ball travel deep enough to get good flush contact. Point being that we had a specific thing to work on. So on the technology side we're using Blast to bat speed, attack angle and VBA, and we're using HitTrax to monitor contact depth in addition to the outcome stuff - exit velocity, launch angle, distance and direction. We also were using two different pitching machines - one offset to the left side, the other offset to the right side. In terms of cues what we ended up with was: - As deep as possible while still being on time - High pitch posture, flat bat path and adjust off if needed But along the way we tried all sorts of stuff - everything from trying to hit a ball to the hot dog cart in oppo foul territory off the left hand off-set machine to trying to find middle of the field ball flight from the right hand offset machine to just going pure let it eat anywhere ball flight off of either machine to score a runner on 2B. In my mind, the best instruction environment for hitting is just a conversation that revolves around: - What were we trying to do vs what did we actually do - What signal can we get about why we did what we did - What adjustments do we need to make to bring our results closer to the intended outcome on the next swing But if the instructor and the player don't even speak the same language...man that conversation is going to be pretty limited in its effectiveness. Because he's 17 we're now able to have these kinds of conversations - with all of these various layers. But the critically important part of the whole thing is that this is an actual two way conversation. Meaning that he's telling me how he feels, we're looking at the data to correlate the feeling to the outcome, we decide on how or if we need to adjust intention for the next swing and we just wash, rinse and repeat that same cycle over and over and over. I wouldn't - and I didn't - coach him this way when he was 12. We used the same tech stack, but the data we paid attention to was a lot more limited. Because that was the level of depth he was able to have a productive conversation about at that time. I'm also exceptionally fortunate that at 17 years old he's still playing and I still get to have these conversations with him.
