They say his father fled federal agents as they approached his vehicle, leaving the child. DHS said the father, whom they described as an "illegal alien from Ecuador," was later taken into custody as other ICE officers stayed with the child. Senior rescue dog was used to staying out of the way — until his new family included him in everything 💖✨ Gunny, an elderly dog who was neglected before being rescued, had grown used to staying on the sidelines. For most of his life, he quietly kept his distance from people, always sitting alone and never daring to take part, because he had never truly been cared for or welcomed. On July 13, The Sameer Project provided summer clothing and gear to 45 Beit Lahia municipality workers to protect them from the summer sun. For $819 total for the purchase after commission fees of 11%, each worker received lightweight pants or a shirt, and a hat to help them endure the conditions they face every day.
