@Janet_sm145 Since my girls were babies I've regularly had full beards and been clean shaven so seeing either way is nothing to them. Now they are like "oh, you shaved... later...."

@Janet_sm145 I had to shave my beard for a job once about ten years ago. I will never forget the way the face of my fourth youngest changed from one of delight to one of horror when she saw this beardless creature sounding like Daddy. It took weeks for her to warm up to me again.

@Janet_sm145 I shaved my mustache I'd worn since boot camp. My adult children lost their minds. Grew it back instantly.

@Janet_sm145 Daughters at the age of 7-10 are so protective of Dad lol, I have one myself. They watch your diet, god forbid you have Zyns, haircuts outfits etc. they take it personally

@Janet_sm145 Yeah... well for my daughter's wedding I went to a supper cuts to get my beard trimmed, and they shaved it off. 😟 They wanted me to be more 'representable'. To this day, I am still embarrassed of the wedding photos. My poor baby girl was devastated.

@Janet_sm145 Grew a beard during Covid had it for about 4 years. Shaved it when my wife got breast cancer and lost her hair. Haven’t grown it back as she wasn’t a big fan in the first place although my son (teenager) really dug it. Least I could do for her! #Fcancer

@Janet_sm145 I remember when my little sister cried when my dad shaved his beard. This is a thing... It's like shaving the man off your face. Your child will disown you. Your wife will dump you. Maybe I should grow my facial hair back. It itches though.
