Hunger is going to sleep with an empty stomach. It is watching your mother divide the last piece of bread between you and your siblings, knowing there may be nothing left for tomorrow. It is hearing your child cry from hunger, while you have nothing left to give them. 💔 Behind every displacement tent, there is a family waiting. A mother trying to protect her children with whatever little she has left. A father searching for food for his family, even when there is nowhere left to find it. And children waiting for a meal that may seem simple to us, but means everything to them. 🍞 We are Project Muhmmed, a youth team working from inside Gaza. We live through these circumstances alongside our community. We go directly to displacement camps, where we distribute bread to children and families who need it. We are still distributing bread. But one meal cannot end tomorrow’s hunger. After we leave one camp, there are still mothers waiting outside their tents. There are still children asking for food. There are still families wondering: “What will we eat tomorrow?” 🤍 Your donation can help us go back to them. It can mean a piece of bread reaching the hands of a hungry child.
