Fritz gets Duke killed

Probably the most creative way of a death scene I’ve ever seen

Hot damn I forgot how heavy that was.

The clacking of the break shot being used for the gunshot is inspired

Wow. That was beautifully directed. Way more expressive than anything this country has produced this century

@newkingarthur Fritz was always pulling some shit

Mr.Bakshi, hope you see this but I wanna say this movie really left an impact on me the first time I saw it, it’s one of my biggest inspirations to pursue animation and create less family friendly and more adult focused projects!

Reminded me of the Godfather oranges scene, which had the same producer as Coonskin, Albert S. Ruddy.

Remember watching this at my film study class

@FurryBaitMedia This scene is heartbreaking

@DanGuy96 Meanwhile cat boy survives a power plant explosion.

Poor Duke.

Maybe my favourite scene from your filmography.

They forgot to put him in one of the frames

This is how real adult animation feels. Like sure it can be funny but it's not afraid to 'go there' because the intended audience ought to be mature enough to stomach it

Not cool, Fritz. 🙁

Goddamn that is impactful

The way the sound gets muffled, minus some noticeable words is so well done, it feels so visceral.

ever since this scene ive always wanted to shot to see if it would be like that

Art 🎭 right there

Hey Ralph we need a new movie already man like can you do hyperion or maybe another sci-fi based novel I mean when you did the hobbit that was amazing hell we need ya man

That was a rough scene.

Phenomenal

RIP Duke
