UCLA 6’9 Forward Tyler Bilodeou has been one of the most underrated players in the country this season. Bilodeou has been one of the biggest standout scorers in High Major basketball averaging 19/5/1 on 55/45/93 splits. Bilodeou is one of the best and most efficient shooters in college basketball at 6’9 and is one of the best contested shooters in the country using his size to his advantage. Bilodeou is also a skilled finisher and skilled in the post where he’s shooting 75% at the rim and he’s started the season in the 83th percentile as a post player and as a cutter. Bilodeou and Yaxel Lendeborg are the only High Major players this season 6’9 or taller to make 20 threes and have a 65% TS as well.

Basketball is played WITH the basketball 5% of the time. One of my favorites quotes from Billy Donovan is: ‘The other 95% of the time most players spend trying to get the basketball’. Players also can’t conceptualize the amount of time they have the ball in their hands in a game. They think it’s exponentially more than it actually is. There aren’t many better senior prospects in this years NBA Draft than 6’7 Minnesota Wing Cade Tyson. Tyson has been one of the most efficient players in college basketball this season averaging 22/5/3 on 53/41/83 splits and is top 5 in High Major scoring. Tyson’s ability to score off the ball at an elite level at 6’7 is extremely valuable and sought after. He’s an elite cutter who’s shooting 92% on cuts on 26 attempts, and he’s also one of the best catch and shoot shooters in the country shooting 41% on 5 attempts a game. Tyson is also a strong driver at the rim and is an incredibly efficient finisher who’s shooting 75% at the rim. As a passer Tyson has great passing vision and uses his ability to score off ball effectively and can find his teammates. Tyson’s mix of shooting, finishing, off ball movement, and passing at 6’7 is extremely valuable and hard to find. Tyson and Yaxel Lendeborg are the only players in the country who are shooting 40% from three on at least 40 attempts and 75% at the rim on at least 40 attempts as well.

Brown has been one of the most impressive players in the A10 this season averaging 13/7/2 while shooting 66% from the field in only 23 MPG. Great news out of Tennessee! The legislature has just approved a new map that would eliminate Steve Cohen's Memphis district. He has represented this overwhelmingly majority-black district since 2007, and I believe he has not done a great job. This is a prime opportunity for the people of Memphis to finally get better representation, which will be fantastic for our entire state as Memphis is brought up to the same level as other cities with great congressional leaders. #Tennessee #Memphis #Redistricting #BetterRepresentation
